The seven peptides reviewed here have different levels of evidence. Semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide, and insulin have FDA-approved products for specific uses. Retatrutide and cagrilintide are still being studied. They have studies that measured health results in people, but neither has an approved product. AOD-9604 was studied for obesity in people, but the reviewed evidence does not establish meaningful weight loss.
