Approval and product status

No FDA-approved TB-500 drug product

TB-500 is not the same as the full thymosin beta-4 molecule. FDA identifies TB-500 as a seven-amino-acid fragment, not as interchangeable with full-length thymosin beta-4. Internet naming and certificates do not establish product identity or clinical equivalence.

This is the status described in the dated review. It is not a live FDA database check.

What was measured in people?

Health outcomes · Unclear
FDA found no adequate human clinical outcome evidence for compounded TB-500 wound-healing use.
Body effects · Limited
Fragment identity and laboratory findings do not establish a clinical benefit in people.

A change in a hormone or body signal does not by itself prove a health benefit.

Limits that matter

Not independently medically reviewed. This tool does not recommend treatment.

This is not an invitation to experiment. The guide provides no sourcing, reconstitution, injection, cycle, stack, or injury-treatment instructions.

Still unknown: Reliable controlled studies in people do not establish faster tendon, muscle, or wound healing from TB-500. Safety, purity, sterility, long-term effects, and equivalence of marketed material remain uncertain.

This record cannot check a package, seller, batch, or personal treatment. It does not provide sport clearance.

Exact product records in this review

These are selected records, not every product or form. A route means how a product enters the body.

No product label record is included here. That is not a separate approval decision. Read the status and sources above.

What the research shows

FDA has published a detailed 2026 briefing on TB-500's identity, characterization, proposed wound-healing use, and evidence gaps. WADA explicitly names TB-500 on the 2026 Prohibited List.

What the peptide approval checker shows

One name. Separate questions.

Approval applies to an exact product and use. Research may cover a different form, group of people, or outcome.

This tool keeps those questions separate. There is no safety score or treatment ranking.
