These three peptides act on melanocortin receptors, proteins that receive body signals. Bremelanotide (PT-141) has an FDA-approved product for one specific use. Afamelanotide (Scenesse) has an FDA-approved implant for a rare disease. Melanotan II is rated Insufficient, and its review found no approved product in any country checked.
